Remembrance...Blame...Forgiveness

"I hope that in your life, and in your world, the good will always outweigh the bad in everything you do and everything that's given to you. Unfortunately that doesn't always occur. You see, there's this thing and it's called tragedy, and it has absolutely no mercy for anyone or anything."

My best friend introduced this quote to me, and it hits close to home every time every time I hear it. If you're like me, it will at least make you think. If not, inspire you to live your life to like there is no tomorrow. Appreciate what you have and thank God for it every day.

On the eve of one of my friends death....the only friend that I've never gotten to say goodbye to...this quote rings loud and clear, and I can't help but think of what may have come...

So for now, my friend, I hope you can hear my words in your world, and I'm sorry for not being there like I should have been. I will always feel ashamed and in debt to you...in the most honored, yet worst way...

...Is his loss because of my influence...could I have prevented...could I have been more supportive...could I, could I, could I. Those questions that will haunt me for the rest of my life. I love you my friend, I miss you my friend, and I hope someday we'll meet again.

No matter how fucked up the situation may be, the good will ALWAYS outweigh the bad.

To all the people I've influenced in my life...to all my friends, may you forgive me and always know that you hold a special place in my heart.

RIP B.B.
