Lucky Number 7

7 Months that is...

Well, today was Monday...but not just any Monday. It was L and I's 7 month anniversary. Now, neither of us are ones to celebrate this, or even remember it, but today was especially special. We found out that L will be able to get our of her apartment lease, and we're going to be able to get a place of our own together!

I guess I should be freaked out right? Well, truthfully nothing has ever felt so 'right' before, in my entire life. I love her, we practically live together anyway, and we're going to be able to save some serious kiz-ash!

I called my mom to tell her the good news, and I was a little surprised about how unenthused she sounded. Maybe she's just busy with remodeling her current house, or maybe she's freaked out because she's loosing her "baby boy" to another woman. Who knows? I would have felt even better if she would have been more excited about it.

Bottom line is L and I are extremely happy to start this new chapter in our life...and it couldn't have come on a better day. I guess it was meant to be. So...here we go, there's no turning back now.

Congrats and good luck to you! I have three tips for successful co-habitation:

    1. Keep major finances seperate (until engaged/married)
    2. When in doubt, HUG
    3. Never, ever leave 'wet' towels in the living room.

Not that I've mastered co-habitation, but these are things that help us :)

Great Advice Megs! Unfortunately due to some unforseen circumstances we have had to cross bridge #1...to an extent. I love the idea of bridge #2 and #3, thanks a ton for the advice. I'm sure I'll be back for more advice...you ARE the expert :)

Ah, the great story. I'll sum up:

First week living together, one of us was unemployed, one of us was not. One of us came home to a wet towel on the living room floor. One of us had ejaculated on it and LEFT IT IN THE LIVING SPACE.

Swear to God, y'all. This is what I'm dealing with.

OMG, hahaha! If I ever come home to a "wet towel" and I don't know about it (it's not mine), I'm gonna have to kick someone's ass! You hear that honey?
